about

It was and anniversary year back in 2009 of landing a man on the moon. I used Kennedy's famous sentence to bring back memories of the event. I hope mankind was really there ont he surface of the moon and it was not a mistifiaction.

lyrics

APOLLO 1969
(40th Anniversary Song)

"I believe that this nation should commit itself
to achieving the goal, before this decade is out,
of landing a man on the Moon
and returning him safely to the Earth." - J.F. Kennedy

Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, Michael Collins
The first manned mission to land on the Moon
One small step for a man one giant leap for mankind

The astronauts looked back at us
As we stared into the sky on a clear night
Where were you when it happened
There were some immortal words left behind

Here men from Planet Earth
We came in peace (for all mankind)
Here Men from Planet Earth For all humanity

One million people gathered all over the state
to see the giant Saturn 5 rocket blast off
And on Sunday the 20th of July they touched the surface
in a descent module four days after launch

Here men from Planet Earth
We came in peace (for all mankind)
Here Men from Planet Earth For all humanity
